Joint Sickness Insurance Scheme (JSIS)

The common health insurance scheme for EU institution staff, established under Article 72 of the Staff Regulations and managed operationally by the PMO. It covers Officials, AST/SC staff, Contract Agents, Temporary Agents and Accredited Parliamentary Assistants, plus qualifying dependants, but explicitly excludes Seconded National Experts, who remain on their national scheme.
