Correction Coefficient

A percentage adjustment, calculated by Eurostat for each duty station, applied to basic salary (and to allowances calculated as a percentage of it) to preserve equivalent purchasing power across different costs of living. Brussels and Luxembourg are the 100% baseline; other duty stations are adjusted above or below that figure and the coefficients are revised roughly twice a year.
